Used to haul stone, sand, cord-wood, acid wood pulpwood, pipe and road-building materials. The last new 36 foot gondolas were built by the railroad in 1926  At the end of narrow gauge operations, the remaining gondolas had their sides and ends removed to turn them into flats to aid in taking up the rails.
